WE DESIGN BIG BRANDS FROM A LITTLE BOAT
We are a Brand Design Studio founded in 2020 by our lead designer Zoë. Cruising around the UK, we work on the move from our 54 foot narrowboat studio. We like to work across a variety of sectors and enjoy working with people from all different areas.
Our environment is constantly changing, as are our clients, so we adapt to change with them. We think this bolsters our creativity and ability to problem solve.

Graphic Designer of nearly a decade. Started Studio Umlaut in 2020. Initially based in Chester has helped numerous businesses within the area to grow and develop their brands. She has loved to see so many of these establishments make their mark. Now aboard Halfpenny, she aims to help many other local businesses reach their potential across the UK.

PROJECT MANAGER
Your project manager and first point of contact throughout the design process, keeping you informed and projects on track. Alex joined Studio Ümlaut in 2024 and has been an asset to us and our clients ever since.

Office Dog. Arguably most important role of keeping morale up in the studio. Obi’s statement: bark bark, woof woof, tail wag, pant, lick.
